The hiking trails and refuges offer access to an unspoiled mountain area of fauna and flora. You only have to look around to spot marmots, ibex and bearded vultures. In summer, Champagny-en-Vanoise also offers hiking, mountain biking and e-bike trails, concerts and other original activities, not forgetting the outdoor swimming pool in a lush green setting overlooking a light-filled mountain landscape. In winter, thanks to its comfortable gondola, the traditional village of Champagny-en-Vanoise is linked to the Paradiski® area, guaranteeing excellent snow conditions for skiing in the mid-altitude and high altitude areas (the topmost peak is at 3,080 m). The site also has two children’s ski gardens. Another significant asset for a successful holiday is the swimming pool with a spa and a paddling pool for your little ones. A few bends further up the road from the main village is the unspoiled valley of Champagny-le-Haut, a real picture-postcard setting where you can enjoy a wide range of Nordic activities: cross-country skiing, tobogganing, ice climbing (on Europe’s one and only ice tower!), hikes and snowshoe walks, dogsledding and a sculpted snow grotto.
