In winter, Montchavin - Les Coches is the perfect spot for a holiday with small or larger tribes, who will be pampered by the services of the “Famille Plus” label, the reference for a great family holiday, with a personalised reception service, adapted activities and dedicated facilities for children (sledging areas, children’s ski garden, etc.). The site is on two levels, set between the forest and the snow-covered ski slopes: the village of Montchavin, 1,250 m above sea level and Les Coches at 1,450 m (linked by a free bus service). Skiers have a choice of several chairlifts and a gondola to take them up to the high-altitude ski area. The Vanoise Express, the impressive cable car that links the Paradiski® area of La Plagne, Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry also leaves from the slopes just above the resort. At the end of the day, there is a skating rink, a cinema and the Espace Paradisio aqua-leisure complex where you can relax with your family.
In summer, it is hard to imagine a more authentic Savoyard village: chalets clad in wood and stone, a chapel, a car-free village centre and charming boutiques selling local products… and even the merry sound of cowbells tinkling all around! The two sites of Montchavin and Les Coches are linked by a free gondola for pedestrians and offer a multitude of activities and entertainment for the whole family: hiking trails, electric scooters… If you need to cool off, there is nothing like diving into the outdoor pool and/or a wellness treatment at the Espace Paradisio.
